Jerome Guisset: From a tiny changing room to Nou Camp and onto Super League in Paris - 'Catalans Dragons driving rugby league revival in France'

On Saturday, Catalans Dragons will face Wigan Warriors at the Stade Jean Bouin in Paris for a Super League contest, 20 years on from their arrival into the competition. 

Jerome Guisset, Perpignan born-and-raised, travelled as far as Canberra in Australia to forge a career in the sport he loved, going on to represent Warrington Wolves (2000-2004) and Wigan Warriors (2005) for six successive seasons in Super League.

When Catalans Dragons were established in Perpignan in 2006, Guisset made an emotional voyage home, seeing out the rest of his playing days with the club until 2010.
